Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Mid Market Sales Engineer to support sales teams and clients by designing strategic network solutions and preparing technical proposals. You will engage with customers to assess requirements and translate them into cost-effective designs for Fiber Internet Access, Private Networking, Voice and Cloud services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
CCDA or CCNA or other industry certification.
3+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom/service provider.
Strong English communication and proposal design skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and sales teams to assess network environments and requirements.
Design complex voice and data network solutions with topologies and specifications.
Prepare pre-sale designs and cost solutions with Engineering/Operations.
Compile project cost elements and assist in pricing and IRR analyses.
Present technical proposals and guide customer integration and implementation.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate with internal teams for installations.
Provide post-sale documentation and support supporting installation and project management.
