Job summary

Charter Communications’ Spectrum Business is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer I in San Diego to bridge technology and business needs for mid-market clients. You will support sales teams, design strategic network solutions, prepare technical proposals and drive seamless integration of Fiber Internet, Private Networking, Voice and Cloud services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, CCDA/CCNA or equivalent, and 3+ years of sales engineering experience in telecom.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
CCDA or CCNA or other comparable industry-recognized certification.
3+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom or service provider industry.

Responsibilities

Assess network environments and business requirements to design cost-effective solutions.
Design complex voice and data network solutions with topologies and specs.
Prepare pre-sale designs and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to review and cost solutions.
Compile project cost elements and assist with pricing and IRR analyses for approval.
Present technical proposals and guide customers on integration and benefits.
