Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue within large strategic accounts.

You will collaborate across business units and champion Akamai's brand to deliver cloud, security and performance solutions to the world’s leading enterprises. You will build relationships with C-level executives, leverage your network to open doors, and work with marketing and sales teams to expand adoption across industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate success in relevant net new customer acquisition as well as farming existing accounts.
• Successful selling of Cloud / Infrastructure / Application security, network, and web performance products/services to large enterprises.
• Passion for building productive relationships with customers by delivering on desired outcomes.
• Ethical approach to sales, integrity, personal drive, and adherence to Akamai values.

Responsibilities

• Build business relationships with C-level executives by delivering value and solutions for large-scale cloud, security, and performance challenges.
• Leverage your network to open doors and establish new relationships.
• Partner with marketing and sales specialists and business development teams to drive interest and awareness in your region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase adoption of Akamai services across verticals and use cases.
