Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue in established strategic accounts in the United States. You will work with multiple business units to align Akamai solutions to client needs and champion the brand with major enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities include building C-level relationships, leveraging networks to open doors, and partnering with marketing, sales, and BD teams to grow regional opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Proven success in net new customer acquisition as well as farming existing accounts.
• Experience selling Cloud/Infrastructure/Application security, network, and web performance to large enterprises.
• Build productive relationships with customers by delivering on outcomes they seek.
• Ethical approach to sales, integrity, and upholding Akamai values.

Responsibilities

• Build business relationships with C-level executives by delivering value and solutions for large scale cloud, security, and performance challenges.
• Leverage your network to open doors and establish new relationships.
• Partner with marketing and sales specialists and business development teams to drive interest in your region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase adoption of Akamai services across verticals and use cases.
