Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue within large strategic accounts, leveraging cloud, security and web performance solutions.

You will build executive relationships and coordinate with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to expand Akamai’s footprint across multiple verticals. With 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree, you will farm existing accounts and win net-new business, upholding an ethical, high-integrity approach

Qualifications

• Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate success selling Cloud / Infrastructure / Application security, network, web performance products and services to large enterprises.
• Be passionate about building productive relationships with customers by delivering on the outcomes they are looking to achieve.
• Display an ethical approach to sales, show integrity, personal drive and be able to uphold Akamai values in every situation.

Responsibilities

• Building business relationships with the C-level executives by bringing value and solutions to solve large scale cloud, security and performance challenges.
• Leveraging your network to help open doors, and start new relationships.
• Partnering and enabling with marketing and sales specialists and business development teams to drive interest and awareness within your region.
• Partnering with cross-functional team to increase adoption of Akamai services across various verticals and use cases.
