Coalition, Inc. is seeking a Senior Underwriter to drive profitability for enterprise accounts and partner closely with our Sales organization. You will underwrite and manage products across Coalition’s portfolio, with a focus on large clients and broker relationships in a remote setting.

You will lead complex pricing negotiations, mentor other underwriters, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This remote role favors the Northeast, with travel for client meetings and leadership

Qualificações

• 5+ years of underwriting experience in cyber and Technology E&O, with success in complex production underwriting.
• Experience underwriting large/enterprise accounts (~$1B+ revenue) and managing a profitable book.
• Ability to analyze complex cyber/Tech E&O risks and their impact on underwriting, pricing, and portfolio outcomes.
• Ability to combine underwriting expertise with broker/client needs and explain rationale at senior levels.
• Strong strategic thinking connecting account decisions to portfolio, P&L and market objectives.
• Experience mentoring underwriters and influencing underwriting culture and standards.
• Excellent executive presence and comfort leading broker/client conversations in high-stakes settings.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest and most complex new and renewal accounts, aligned to underwriting guidelines and carrier requirements.
• Shape portfolio strategy through management of broker relationships for top accounts.
• Maintain disciplined underwriting files, documentation, and internal tooling in line with governance.
• Lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, structures, and exceptions with risk appetite and carrier requirements.
• Serve as Coalition’s senior underwriting face for priority brokers and flagship accounts, including executive discussions.
• Provide mentorship to other underwriters and raise underwriting discipline.
• Represent Underwriting in cross-functional strategy discussions on portfolio optimization and market growth.
• Partner with security, Claims, Product, Actuarial, and CPU to address complex risk issues and translate into sound underwriting decisions.
• Regular travel required for senior broker relationship management and market leadership.
