Coalition is seeking a Senior Underwriter to drive profitability by underwriting and managing complex cyber and Technology E&O risks for large broker relationships and enterprise accounts. The role focuses on delivering sound risk decisions and portfolio growth in a remote Western US setting, with a preference for Southern California.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in cyber and Technology E&O
• Experience underwriting large/enterprise accounts (~$1B+ revenue)
• Ability to analyze complex cyber and Technology E&O risks
• Balance underwriting expertise with broker and client needs
• Strong strategic thinking linking decisions to portfolio goals
• Experience mentoring underwriters and influencing standards
• Excellent executive presence for senior-level discussions

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest and most complex new and renewal accounts per guidelines and carrier requirements.
• Shape portfolio strategy by managing broker relationships for top accounts.
• Maintain disciplined underwriting files, documentation, and internal tooling.
• Lead complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and exceptions in alignment with risk appetite.
• Represent underwriting in executive discussions with priority brokers and strategic clients.
• Provide mentorship to underwriters to raise underwriting discipline.
• Participate in cross-functional strategy discussions for portfolio optimization and market growth.
• Collaborate with security, Claims, Product, Actuarial, and CPU to address complex risk issues.
• Travel regularly for senior broker relationship management and market leadership.
