Job summary

Coalition is seeking a seasoned Senior Underwriter to drive profitable business from a select broker group, focusing on enterprise clients (~$1B+ revenue). This role requires underwriting leadership, portfolio strategy, and close collaboration with Sales, security, claims, and product teams.

Remote anywhere in the Northeast with preference for NYC, Philadelphia, or Boston. You will mentor underwriters, manage complex negotiations, and represent underwriting to senior stakeholders, including

Qualifications

• 8+ years in underwriting, with deep cyber and Technology E&O experience.
• Proven track record underwriting large/enterprise accounts (~$1B+ revenue).
• Ability to influence at senior levels and negotiate terms.
• Strong broker and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest and most complex accounts.
• Shape portfolio strategy through broker relationships for major accounts.
• Maintain underwriting files and governance standards.
• Lead complex pricing and term negotiations in line with risk appetite.
• Represent underwriting to brokers, clients, and leadership.
• Mentor other underwriters to raise underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with security, Claims, Product, Actuarial, CPU on risk issues.
• Travel regularly for senior broker relationship management.
