Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking an Executive Underwriter for the Northeast, with a remote-friendly setup and a preference for candidates in NYC, Philadelphia, or Boston. You will underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest, most complex accounts, collaborating with brokers and internal teams to drive profitable growth.

You will lead pricing negotiations, guide portfolio strategy, and mentor other underwriters while serving as the senior underwriting representative to high-profile clients and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in cyber and Technology E&O
• Experience underwriting large/enterprise accounts (~$1B+ revenue)

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest and most complex new and renewal accounts.
• Shape portfolio strategy through broker relationships for top accounts.
• Maintain disciplined underwriting files and governance in line with workflows.
• Lead complex pricing negotiations with pricing terms and structures.
• Serve as senior underwriting face for priority brokers and flagship clients.
• Provide mentorship to other underwriters and elevate underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with security, Claims, Product, Actuarial, and CPU on risk issues and portfolio decisions.
• Travel regularly for senior broker relationship management and market leadership.
