Job summary

commercetools is seeking a Senior Named Account Executive to hunter large strategic net-new customers and drive Autonomous Commerce initiatives. You will engage C-level executives, build executive business cases, and lead multi-month, complex deals across strategic accounts.

You will develop account strategies, generate pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to close high-value opportunities while meeting and exceeding annual quotas.

Qualifications

• Experience selling Enterprise SaaS solutions to large organizations.
• Proven track record of achieving $1M+ in net-new ARR quotas.
• Ability to engage C-level executives and build executive business cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to win large net-new enterprise opportunities.
• Consistently generate disciplined pipeline and manage opportunities to closure.
• Engage executive leadership and align across business, product, technology, and operations teams.
• Lead complex sales cycles typically 6–9 months or longer for transformation initiatives.
• Create compelling business cases and financial justification tied to measurable outcomes.
• Partner with BDRs, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Partners, and Marketing to accelerate deals.
