Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an Account Manager II for Regional Enterprise Expansion in Texas. You will drive regional enterprise sales for a complex services portfolio, with 25-50% travel and the option to work from home within Texas.

You will build opportunities, manage forecasts, and collaborate cross-functionally to close deals and grow the region. Strong communication and 5-7+ years of tech sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5-7+ years’ experience using a solution-based sales methodology for enterprise technology services in a consultative, complex, business-line sales process.
• Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
• Proficiency in MS Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong business acumen and expert knowledge of Lumen’s products, services, and solutions
• Experience with Salesforce.com preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Developing Regional Enterprise sales by identifying new opportunities through cold calling, visits, networking, lead generation, proposals, and appointments.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Solutions/Technology, Sales Support, Service Delivery.
• Identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new opportunities to meet/exceed quotas; preparing account plans and strategies.
• Providing input to sales management about trends and recommending actions to improve customer position.
• Leveraging client relationships to achieve Lumen’s strategic imperatives and recruit top talent.
