Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales professional to identify, bid on, and close new opportunities, while managing end-to-end relationships with strategic customers across multiple states. The role requires 7+ years of field sales experience and a proven track record in achieving quotas.

The position supports remote work from multiple states, with 50%+ travel for customer-facing activities, and offers a comprehensive compensation package aligned with the national market.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry sales experience.
• Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
• Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
• Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
• Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
• Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue.
• Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales and revenue quotas.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the company's entire product suite and may have in-depth knowledge on a subset of products/services.
• Provides accurate weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quotas.
• Provides input to sales management about trends and changes within the customer's organization and recommends future actions to improve position.
• Builds and grows the sales pipeline.
