Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects. This on-site or hybrid role can be based in any Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia office, and includes eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

The position requires PE licensure, extensive leadership of engineering teams, and strong client-facing skills to represent GAI with public and private sector clients across transportation and infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience working with state agencies; design-build experience preferred.
• PE Registration/License required; reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in the development of plans, financial monitoring, and serving as GAI's client representative.
• Develop standards and guidelines for projects.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate engineering economics and risk analysis.
• Manage project objectives, resources, and coordination across teams.
