Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid at offices in OH, IN, KY, or WV with a sign-on bonus.

You will oversee engineers, manage budgets, and serve as the client representative for complex assignments. The candidate should have a PE license with multi-state reciprocity, and demonstrated experience with state agencies and design-build projects.

Qualifications

• Experience working with state agencies is required; general government experience and design-build expertise are preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required with reciprocity in multiple states.
• Oversight of engineers in developing plans, financial monitoring, and acting as client representative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in the development of plans and budgets.
• Serve as GAI’s client representative on projects.
• Lead projects with complex features and manage cross-disciplinary teams.
• Integrate sustainability, risk analysis, and engineering economics into solutions.
