Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience in managing traffic and engineering projects. This role offers on-site or hybrid work at our Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices and a sign-on bonus.

You will lead engineers, oversee plans, financial monitoring, and act as client representative, with PE licensure required and multi-state reciprocity. State agencies and design-build experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing traffic and engineering projects.
• Experience with state agencies and design-build is preferred.
• PE Registration is required with reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and guidelines for projects.
• Lead a project in your practice area.
• Develop design alternatives for complex projects considering constraints, community input, permitting, and regulatory factors.
• Integrate sustainability into engineering solutions.
• Oversee technical, legal, and financial aspects; assemble a complete project management plan.
