CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy Engineering seeks a hands-on Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to lead a diverse team across geographies, shaping the multi-year modernization roadmap in the digital health space.

You will drive design, development and delivery of complex software assets, mentor engineers, and partner with business, product and technology leaders to elevate operational efficiency and quality. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development with Agile practices.
5+ years building microservices (Python/Java Spring Boot).
3+ years leading distributed remote engineering teams.
3+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
2+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
1+ years using AI frameworks and generative AI web services.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, foundational framework and development of Specialty pharmacy products and associated technology assets.
Assess software engineering practices, driving continuous improvement, improving operational efficiency and product quality.
Lead engineering teams, guiding and mentoring them across multiple platforms.
People management including hiring, performance management, team building and coaching for career growth.
Build relationships with Business, Product and Technology partners to support the delivery roadmap.
Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed.
