CVS Health Specialty Pharmacy Engineering is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering. You will lead a diverse team across geographies, driving design, development and delivery of multi-year modernization initiatives that connect health services with digital technology.

You will partner with Strategy, Operations and Product leaders to align technology with business value and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Development experience with Agile
• 5+ years building microservices (Python, Java Spring Boot)
• 3+ years leading distributed multi-site remote teams
• 3+ years containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• 2+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• 1+ years using AI frameworks and generative AI web-services

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Specialty pharmacy tech assets
• Improve engineering practices, efficiency and time-to-market
• Mentor and manage engineering teams across geographies
• Drive staffing, hiring and performance management
• Partner with Business, Product and Technology to deliver roadmaps
• Coordinate onshore/offshore staffing and vendor relationships
• Advise on long-term technology strategy and industry trends
• Travel up to 10% within the United States as needed
