Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to lead a diverse engineering and change management team across geographies, delivering multi‑year modernization roadmaps for Specialty Pharmacy tech assets.
You will partner with Strategy and Operations and Product to drive operational efficiency, value‑stream savings, and high‑impact software releases each year while growing the team and shaping the technology strategy.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience with Agile methodologies.
- 5+ years building microservices using Python/Java Spring Boot.
- 3+ years leading distributed remote software teams.
- 3+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
- 2+ years cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- 1+ years experience with Agentic AI frameworks and generative AI web services.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of Specialty Pharmacy technology assets.
- Assess practices to improve operational efficiency and time to market.
- Mentor engineering teams and drive career growth with coaching.
- Partner with Business, Product and Technology to support roadmaps.
- Coordinate onshore/offshore staffing and vendor relationships.
- Drive long-term technology strategy and multi-year modernization roadmap.
