Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to lead a diverse team across multiple geographies, driving modernization of Specialty Pharmacy technology. You will partner with Strategy, Operations and Product to plan and deliver a multi-year roadmap, while ensuring high quality and scalable software delivery.

You will guide design, development, testing, and deployment of critical healthcare software assets, mentor managers and engineers, and influence technology

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience with Agile methods.
5+ years building microservices using Python/Java (Spring Boot).
3+ years leading distributed remote software teams.
3+ years containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
2+ years experience on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of Specialty Pharmacy technology assets.
Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and time to market.
Mentor engineering teams across multiple geographies and disciplines.
Manage people: hiring, performance, growth, and coaching with measurable goals.
Collaborate with business, product and tech partners to deliver roadmaps.
Partner with onshore/offshore vendors to staff projects and delivery.
