Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites an Engagement Manager II to drive customer success for major retailers and enterprises. You will own outcomes, guide architecture, and lead cross-functional programs delivering measurable value from Akamai solutions.

You will partner with sales, mentor a diverse team, define account strategy, and manage a robust project pipeline while working in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in CS, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Customer-facing experience and understanding of consulting processes.
• Experience delivering large technical programs.
• Knowledge of DevOps, web performance, and core internet tech (DNS, TLS, HTTP).
• Familiar with cloud-based systems design, implementation, and management.
• Team player able to work independently and in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Owning customer success and being the trusted advisor that helps customers achieve their desired outcomes using Akamai solutions.
• Performing research and conducting assessments to identify trends and provide guidance that influences customer architecture and adoption decisions.
• Architecting and managing web performance, cloud computing and security solutions.
• Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline.
• Leading and mentoring a cross functional team, cultivating a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and excellence.
• Partnering with sales and pre‑sales to help expand the use of services and solutions.
