Hydrogen Group is seeking a Senior Energy Storage Engineer to support the design and execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable infrastructure projects. This remote USA role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, safe energy storage solutions.

The candidate will have strong electrical engineering expertise, experience with energy projects, and the ability to resolve engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in engineering design or project engineering within renewable energy, electrical power or energy storage sectors.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and complex energy infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, studies, equipment specs and deliverables.
• Ability to independently manage specialised engineering tasks and investigate issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for project activities.

Aufgaben

• Support design and technical development of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Provide engineering oversight for major equipment and power conversion systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Review drawings, specs and design documentation to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Evaluate studies, identify risks and develop practical solutions for performance and reliability.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and consultants to ensure effective integration of major equipment.
• Provide technical input into engineering decisions, design modifications and project improvements.
