Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to provide guidance, investigations, and strategic support to leaders and HR. The role collaborates with Legal, HRBPs, and other teams to ensure a compliant and positive employee experience aligned with company values.

Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones and be able to travel up to 25%. The position is remote, with occasional travel, and requires a HR-related degree with several years in ER.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in employee relations or a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Direct experience handling employee relations issues, intake, review, and resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of workplace investigations, employment laws, and policy interpretation.
• Strong ability to influence, communicate, and build credibility with leaders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee relations expert, guiding concerns and investigations with clear synthesis of information.
• Conduct investigations and document findings per ER team processes.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and other departments to resolve inquiries and align with company values.
• Champion compliance; interpret policies and educate stakeholders.
• Own assigned employee relations cases in the case management system or Ethics Hotline.
• Analyze trends to proactively identify opportunities and improve engagement.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
