Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner who will provide guidance on employee relations issues and investigations. The role partners with HR, Legal, and Leadership to deliver a positive employee experience across management levels.

The ideal candidate brings advanced knowledge of investigations, laws, and strong influencing and communication skills, with ability to travel up to 25% and work remotely. Eastern/Central US residence preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business management or related discipline and 4 years' experience; other combos allowed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Direct experience handling employee relations issues (intake, review, resolution).
• Advanced knowledge of workplace investigations, union avoidance, and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee relations expert; guide leaders; conduct investigations.
• Perform and document investigations per team guidelines.
• Partner with HRBP, Legal, and others to resolve inquiries and investigations.
• Promote policy interpretation, ensure consistent application aligned with priorities.
• Own assigned cases in case management system or Ethics Hotline.
• Analyze trends to identify opportunities and improve engagement.
• Advise on recommendations to retain a positive employee relations climate.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
