Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to guide employee relations, conduct investigations, and advise leaders across the organization. You will partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and internal teams to deliver equitable, compliant outcomes that align with company values.

In this role, you will own ER cases, analyze trends, and help promote a positive climate while traveling up to 25% as needed. Remote work is supported with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management or related discipline; 4 years' experience in a related field, or alternative combinations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Direct experience handling all aspects of employee relations issues, including intake, review and resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of workplace investigations, union avoidance, and state and federal employment laws.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and build credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and to work remotely with periodic travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee relations expert, guiding on concerns and conducting investigations, advising leaders, and synthesizing information clearly.
• Conduct investigations and document matters according to ER guidelines.
• Partner with ER team, People Leaders, HRBPs, Legal and others to resolve inquiries and investigations aligned with company values.
• Interpret policies, ensure consistent application, educate employees and stakeholders as needed.
• Own assigned ER cases in case management system and/or Ethics Hotline; document findings per best practices.
• Analyze and track ER trends to identify opportunities and boost engagement.
• Collaborate with HRBPs to promote a positive ER climate where issues are resolved promptly.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
