Job summary

STR seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy real-time processing software for advanced radar systems. You will lead DSP-focused initiatives, architect embedded solutions, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet demanding military standards.

Qualifications include 5+ years in C/C++ embedded development, real-time processing expertise, and experience with Xilinx MPSoC/RFSoC; active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of C/C++ development experience
• Embedded Linux development experience
• Active SECRET clearance with eligibility to obtain TS clearance (US citizen)
• Experience with radar/electronic warfare concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead development of innovative radar/EW systems through DSP implementation
• Architect, design, and implement embedded software in multi-function systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
• Research and lead new embedded software implementations and refine roadmaps
• Communicate solutions clearly to team, STR management, and customers
• Design and implement signal processing and software solutions
• Conduct performance analysis via simulations and field tests
• Prepare documentation, design specs, test plans, and reports
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project status
