Job summary

STR, near Boston MA, seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy real-time radar and EW software. You will lead DSP and embedded systems across the signal chain for multi-function radar platforms.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform performance analyses, document designs and test plans, and contribute to technology roadmaps. Security clearances and regulatory standards apply.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance with TS eligibility, U.S. citizenship required.
• 5+ years of C/C++ development, embedded Linux experience.
• Experience with radar, EW, DSP, and real-time systems.
• Experience with radar platforms Xilinx MPSoC/RFSoC.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience; or equivalent.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead DSP-based radar/EW systems in embedded software.
• Architect and implement embedded software in multi-function, deployable systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive system requirements and specifications.
• Research new approaches and contribute to technology/product roadmaps.
• Document designs, test plans, and performance results.
• Communicate with stakeholders on progress and findings.
