Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. seeks a Sr Manager, Los Angeles Service Ops to lead elevator maintenance, billable repair, and field service across the LA territory.

You will develop an experienced operations team, coordinate field resources, and drive safe, responsive service. On a typical day you will lead service operations, coach Superintendents, coordinate labor and routes, oversee open orders, and partner with Service Sales to meet customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of elevator industry experience in service, maintenance, repair, field operations, or related assignments.
• Strong knowledge of elevator maintenance and billable repair operations.
• Hands‑on field experience as an elevator mechanic, Service Superintendent, field leader, or operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead elevator service, maintenance, and billable repair operations across the Los Angeles territory.
• Manage, coach, and develop Service Superintendents and operations support employees.
• Coordinate labor resources, mechanic routes, scheduling, and field priorities.
• Oversee open order work, including paid repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Balance service delivery, labor availability, safety, quality, and profitability.
• Partner with Service Sales and branch leadership to meet customer and business priorities.
• Communicate technical and operational information in customer meetings.
• Improve efficiency in workforce scheduling, resource planning, and field execution.
• Use Salesforce and other systems to manage workload and monitor performance.
• Support field training, safety audits, jobsite inspections, and ESG compliance.
