Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- New Installation in Los Angeles, CA. You will manage construction operations from survey through turnover, ensuring on-time, profitable project delivery.

You will lead field teams, coordinate with subcontractors and client stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry codes and company SOPs while driving safety and quality on all sites.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all construction field employees and manages performance.
• Administers company safety program and conducts safety audits.
• Plans, directs and prioritizes elevator installations and manpower needs.
• Reviews job status using accounting and project reports to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manages jobsites from survey to completion and coordinates with customers and subcontractors.
• Develops relationships with owners, contractors, consultants, and architects.
• Reviews and signs off on change orders, purchase orders, and other approvals.
• Keeps up-to-date with federal, state, and local elevator industry codes.
