Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent for New Installation in Sacramento, CA. The role oversees all construction operations, ensuring timely, profitable project delivery and growth toward annual budgets.

Responsibilities include directing field crews, enforcing safety, managing subcontractors, and coordinating with owners, architects and consultants. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with a valid driver’s license and strong reporting/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of branch management experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and review complex diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all construction field employees with direction, training and performance management.
• Administers company safety program and conducts safety audits.
• Reviews job status via accounting reports to identify risk and opportunities.
• Manages subcontractor schedule and performance on turnkey projects.
• Maintains strong relationships with owner, contractors, elevator consultants and architects.
• Identifies and approves change orders, purchase orders and other approvals.
• Keeps up with federal, state and local elevator industry codes.
• Interfaces with corporate departments and regional operations teams.
• Responds to complaints and resolves issues with customers and agents.
• Plans materials, coordinates subcontracting and monitors site progress.
