Job summary

TK Elevator in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Superintendent- New Installation to lead construction operations, ensuring timely, profitable project delivery and branch growth.

You will supervise field staff, enforce safety, plan elevator installations, and monitor progress with project management tools while coordinating with owners, contractors, and architects. Strong leadership and knowledge of elevator codes are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction industry and management; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to present information to management and customers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and complex variables
• Requires valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Direct and train construction field employees and enforce company policies.
• Administer safety program and perform safety audits.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator installations and manpower needs using PM software and scheduling tools.
• Review job status with accounting reports to identify risk and revenue opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor schedules and performance on turnkey projects.
• Build strong relationships with owners, contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Sign off on change orders, purchase orders, and other approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of elevator codes and SOPs; coordinate with factory and regional teams.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate with unions when needed.
• Determine materials and coordinate subcontracting portions of installations.
• Conduct weekly crew visits and document progress.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
