Job summary

TK Elevator in Nashville, TN is seeking a Superintendent- New Installation to lead elevator installation projects. You will supervise field crews, manage safety programs, and coordinate with owners, architects and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to ensure compliance with codes and SOPs while maintaining site progress and quality across turn-key installations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or two year’s experience managing on a branch departmental level; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage diverse variables.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all construction field employees, provides direction, training and performance management.
• Administers safety program and conducts safety audits.
• Plans and directs elevator installations and manpower needs; uses scheduling tools.
• Reviews job status and reports issues, including revenue fade risks.
• Manages subcontractor schedule and performance on turn-key projects.
• Maintains relationships with owners, contractors, consultants and architects.
• Signs off on change orders, purchase orders and other approvals.
• Ensures compliance with codes and SOPs; engages with regional teams.
• Leads weekly crew visits to monitor safety, site activity and progress.
