Job summary

TK Elevator, Miami, FL, seeks an experienced Superintendent- New Installation to lead elevator installations and field operations. You will guide field crews, manage safety programs, schedule resources, and work closely with owners, contractors, and architects to ensure timely, profitable project delivery.

The role requires strong project oversight, cost awareness, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to meet project milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all construction field employees with direction, training and performance management.
• Administers the safety program including safety audits.
• Plans, directs and prioritises elevator installations and manpower needs.
• Reviews job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunity.
• Manages subcontractor schedule and performance on turn‑key projects.
• Maintains relationships with owners, contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Reviews and signs off on change orders, purchase orders and related approvals.
• Keeps up‑to‑date with elevator industry codes and SOPs.
• Attends training and interfaces with factory and support teams.
• Resolves customer issues and coordinates with local agents on union matters.
• Identifies materials to order and coordinates subcontracting portions of installations.
• Performs weekly crew visits to monitor safety and progress.
