Job summary

TK Elevator in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Superintendent- New Installation to lead construction operations for elevator installations and related projects. You will plan manpower, supervise field teams, and coordinate with owners, contractors, and architects to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires safety leadership, change-order reviews, and adherence to industry codes. You will use project management tools, monitor progress, and report status while developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or construction management.
• Ability to write reports and proposals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field employees and manage performance.
• Administer safety program and audits.
• Direct elevator installations and manpower planning.
• Review job status and identify risk and opportunity.
• Manage subcontractor schedule and performance.
• Maintain relationships with owners, contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Review change orders, purchase orders, and approvals.
• Stay current with federal, state and local elevator codes.
• Interface with SOPs and factory updates and coordination with Regional Operations Team.
• Mediate and resolve complaints with customers and local business agents.
• Determine materials and coordinate subcontracting portions of installations.
• Make weekly crew visits and document findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
