Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements and production quality. You will optimize manufacturing workflows, reduce costs, and scale hardware development from prototype to full production.

The role covers DFx, tool selection, vendor interaction, quality planning, and thorough work documentation. You will collaborate with Product Quality Engineering and Design teams to tackle root issues, improve FPY, and ensure smooth NPI

Competenze

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource‑constrained settings.
• Hands-on experience with hardware manufacturing methods (machining, fabrication, soldering, wiring, assembly).
• Experience with DFx for smooth NPI transitions is a plus.

Mansioni

• Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain including Assembly, Integration & Test for electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Drive continuous improvement and lead Kaizen events to boost quality and efficiency.
• Support RCCA burndowns with Product Quality Engineering to address root issues.
• Troubleshoot complex mixed‑signal systems and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Implement corrective actions to improve first‑pass yield and production performance.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering during development to enable smooth NPI transitions (DFx).
• Develop process flows by breaking down assemblies into subassemblies and sub‑processes.
• Write work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, and other manufacturing docs.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers for quick-turn development and scale‑up production.
• Hands‑on work with technicians to build prototype hardware and validate designs.
• Contribute to mechanical or electrical design work including interconnects and board fabrication.
