Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements and scale production for advanced defense hardware. You will optimize manufacturing workflows, lead continuous improvement efforts, and collaborate with design, QA and supplier teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
The role requires deep hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Degree in a technical field (engineering, math or hard science).
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
- Hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (machining, fabrication, soldering, harnesses).
- Experience with electrical debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQs, programmable power supplies).
- Experience with systems AI&T in electromechanical products; DFx for NPI transitions.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing value chain including AI&T for electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering on RCCA burndowns.
- Troubleshoot to root cause in complex mixed-signal systems.
- Improve FPY and production performance through corrective actions.
- Develop processes and documentation for hardware scale-up.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for rapid-turn and scale production.
