Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own the transition of new electromechanical products from NPI to high-volume production.

You will optimize for manufacturability, drive supplier collaboration, and implement robust automation to scale production while sustaining high quality. You will lead cross-functional efforts across design, quality, production, and programs to ensure repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes and strong documentation and change control

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
• Experience integrating large or high complexity assemblies/subassemblies.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience with configuration management and change control (CCB, E&O, effectivity dates).
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of electromechanical products from NPI to high-volume production with DFM/DFA.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve quality on existing lines.
• Design and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize throughput and quality.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and validation of new systems and equipment.
• Identify and implement automation to streamline processes and capacity.
• Develop detailed manufacturing process flows and subassemblies.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, QC plans, and inspections.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure high-yield, on-time delivery.
• Travel to suppliers to audit processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback to engineering and maintain PLM data (BOM ownership, change control).
