Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive electromechanical hardware from prototype to high-volume production for the Eagle Eye family. You will lead manufacturability improvements, tooling development, and cross-functional collaboration to scale manufacturing.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, process documentation, and working in a fast-paced defense environment. A technical degree and 7+ years of hardware experience are required, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science.
• 7+ years in electromechanical hardware manufacturing or design.
• Experience delivering hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Hands-on hardware fabrication experience (machining, soldering, assembly).
• Interest in manufacturing and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with MES and test executive software.
• U.S. Person due to export control access.

Responsibilities

• Transition prototypes to high-volume production, improving manufacturability.
• Implement semi- and fully automated assembly solutions.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for feedback on manufacturability.
• Own the manufacturing value chain for EagleEye systems.
• Develop tooling and fixturing for assembly, quality and test.
• Create process flows and documentation for scalable manufacturing.
• Work hands-on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical and electrical interconnects and boards.
