Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own parts of the manufacturing value chain, develop tooling, and optimize processes for rapid prototyping and at-scale production of defense hardware. You will work with technicians to prototype hardware and collaborate with contract manufacturers on repeatable workflows.

The role requires a technical degree, 2+ years in electromechanical hardware, hands-on fabrication skills, and a strong interest in manufacturing in a high-stakes

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a hard science.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Demonstrated leadership with concrete examples.
• Hands-on hardware fabrication experience (machining, soldering, assembly).
• Genuine interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn.
• U.S. person status is required to access export controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Own part of the manufacturing value chain for products.
• Develop tooling for fabrication and assembly of parts.
• Create process flows by breaking assemblies into subassemblies.
• Write work instructions and quality plans for scale.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers for repeatable processes.
• Work hands-on with technicians to prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical/electrical design and inspection.
• Travel to suppliers to source, resolve issues, and improve quality.
