Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Manufacturing Team, responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware. The role covers the entire manufacturing value chain, from DFM work to tool design, process creation, vendor interaction, quality planning, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on background, ownership of technical challenges, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, resource-limited environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or hard science.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design/manufacturing.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Own part or all of the manufacturing value chain for products.
• Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
• Create process flows by breaking down assemblies into subassemblies.
• Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to develop repeatable processes for rapid development and scale.
• Work hands-on with technicians and engineers on prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical/electrical design, including interconnects and board fabrication.
• Travel to suppliers for sourcing, issue resolution, and quality procedures.
