Job summary

RTX seeks an Electrical Engineering Technical Lead in Tucson, AZ to oversee the EE team on the CB3+ loitering munition program, supporting system requirement verification and production for JEON.

You will guide designers of electrical subassemblies, manage risks, review test plans, and mentor staff while collaborating with management, customers, and suppliers. This is an on-site role requiring US citizenship and clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 10+ years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in subassembly design, integration, and production support.
• Experience with electrical subsystems, systems engineering, requirement development, and verification.
• Strong communication skills and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure integrity of electronic subassembly designs, including the TDP and hardware development, integration, and verification activities.
• Identify and manage technical risks.
• Provide technical oversight of failure investigations.
• Support component-level design, design revisions, and test reviews.
• Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, on-site supplier support, field work, or a combination.
• Assignments may guide a team through hardware systems lifecycle phases and guide root-cause investigations.
