Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technical Lead for the CB3+ loitering munition program. You will lead the EE team, oversee design, integration, and verification of electrical subassemblies and CCAs, and support production and TD Package maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and 10+ years in circuit design, systems engineering, and production support, with DoD Secret clearance being required for day-one start, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Ten years of experience in subassembly design, integration, and production support; analog, digital, and power electronics.
Experience with electrical subsystems, systems engineering, requirement development, verification, CCA Design, Test Integration, or Supplier Management.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to ensure integrity of electronic subassembly designs, including the TDP and hardware development, integration, and verification activities.
Identify and manage technical risks.
Provide technical oversight of failure investigations.
Support component level design, design revisions, and test reviews.
Work environment is office primarily, may include labs, on-site supplier support, field work, or a combination.
Guide a team through hardware lifecycle phases: designs, analyses, architecture, requirements and test plans, peer reviews, and root-cause investigations.
Manage configuration pedigree for early Production units.
Mentor and be mentored within a strong RTX culture.
Collaborate with Functional, Program management, Customer, and Suppliers.
Occasional business travel may be required.
