Job summary

Global Edge Group, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead its largest electrical construction programs with full accountability for scope, safety, schedule, and financial performance.

You will mentor project teams, manage executive client relationships, and drive best practices across multiple workstreams while delivering high-value projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
• PMP certification strongly preferred; demonstrated progression toward PMP acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required for travel to job sites and client locations.
• Experience leading large electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of large, complex projects or multiple concurrent projects/programs, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and financial objectives.
• Own and manage project or portfolio P&L performance, including budget development, forecasting, margin optimization, and financial risk management.
• Develop and implement project and program-level execution strategies across multiple workstreams.
• Serve as primary executive-level point of contact for clients, general contractors, and key stakeholders; build long-term client relationships.
• Lead contract strategy and administration, including negotiation, risk evaluation, and resolution of complex change orders, claims, and disputes.
• Drive financial performance and cost control strategies, including productivity improvement, cost recovery, and margin protection initiatives.
• Oversee procurement strategy for major equipment, subcontractors, and vendors, including high-value and long-lead items.
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and teams; mentor and develop talent.
