Job summary

Axon in Boston is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. You will play a key role as a founding member of the hardware team, shaping the technical architecture and engineering standards to scale across products.

You will lead cross-functional efforts spanning schematics design, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring-up, while guiding teams through validation and mass

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design, RF integration, and hardware bring-up.
• Experience with Cadence tools and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout for processors, RF transceivers, power management.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: design and validate RF and radio systems across wireless technologies.
• Mechanical Integration: collaborate to optimize board layout and antenna integration within tight form factors.
• Bring-Up & Debugging: bring up and troubleshoot hardware with test equipment.
• Production Readiness: drive BOMs, documentation, verification, and manufacturing readiness.
• Technical Leadership: provide direction to EE team and partners, drive hardware objectives to completion.
