The role emphasizes applying advanced engineering techniques, preparing calculations, leading budgets and teams, and maintaining QA/QC standards while staying current with industry practices in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and EIT certification required.
• Progressive experience delivering design deliverables for large capital projects.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles and regulations.
• Experience with infrastructure planning and rehab/new design projects.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations, and QA/QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects, review electrical plans, ensure code compliance.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases.
• Plan future-ready techniques and operating strategies in design.
• Prepare and review calculations for loads, sizing, grounding, short-circuit, relay.
• Lead MEP projects with budgets, hours, expenses, and subcontractor oversight.
• Coordinate plans, specs, and cost estimates with owners and clients.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings.
• Provide guidance with strict QA/QC adherence.
• Stay current with latest electrical engineering practices.
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding funds and resources.
