Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across facilities and infrastructure projects in the US, with opportunities in multiple locations including Dallas, TX. You will drive technical delivery, mentorship, and cross-discipline coordination within our Federal Programs Team.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PE registration, and strong knowledge of NFPA codes, Revit, and AutoCAD. Travel up to 25% and engagement with clients and regulators are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years as an electrical engineer delivering design outputs.
• Professional Engineering registration and US citizenship.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and electrical construction laws.
• Proficient with Revit/AutoCAD and power systems tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on large projects within an MEP team.
• Develop plans, specs, and cost estimates with coordination across disciplines.
• Oversee staff and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with government, owners, and vendors on design and construction.
