Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Programs Team in Arlington, VA and other U.S. locations. You will lead electrical design within an MEP discipline and drive complex projects from inception to completion.

This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of design experience, a PE license, and US citizenship. You will mentor staff, coordinate with government and clients, and ensure NFPA code compliance while delivering safe, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years post-education electrical design experience.
• Professional Engineer registration and US citizenship.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and construction laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design leadership within electrical discipline.
• Develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with government and clients and other disciplines.
• Oversee project inception to completion and coordination with sub-consultants.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC across deliverables.
• Travel to project sites and manufacturer facilities as required.
