Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead multi-site electrical design, analysis, and construction support for complex projects. You will develop plans, calculations, and cost estimates, collaborating with owners and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant solutions.

You will apply advanced engineering techniques across concept, design, procurement, and operation phases, mentoring junior staff and ensuring QA/QC adherence while staying current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer on large capital projects.
• Engineer in Training Certification; proficiency with NEC, ICC, and IECC codes.
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD; strong project coordination skills.
• Effective communication and leadership for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex electrical infrastructure projects from design through construction.
• Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques across project phases.
• Prepare and review electrical calculations and one-line diagrams; ensure QA/QC.
• Develop plans and specifications; coordinate with owners, disciplines, and sub-consultants.
• Lead project budgeting, hours tracking, and subcontractor oversight.
