Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure design for large capital projects across public and private sectors. You will oversee complex construction, perform advanced electrical calculations, and ensure QA/QC across design deliverables.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5–7 years of post-education experience, and certification. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, process, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and codes (NEC), building codes (ICC) and energy codes (IECC).
• Ability to utilize innovative analytical techniques in solving complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex new construction, renovation, and electrical infrastructure projects including review and approval of electrical infrastructure design plans, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
