Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure projects across large capital programs from concept through construction. You will review designs, perform load and short‑circuit studies, and guide junior team members while ensuring QA/QC.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 5–7 years of post‑education experience, and Engineer in Training certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5–7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer on large capital projects.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Working knowledge of electrical codes, design and permitting processes.
- Experience with infrastructure design and rehabilitation projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex construction and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Review electrical design plans for data integrity and code compliance.
- Prepare electrical calculations, one-line diagrams and relaying coordination.
- Lead project budgets, hours tracking, and subcontractor supervision.
- Provide QA/QC guidance and develop comprehensive reports.
