Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for large-scale data center projects. You will drive innovation, coordinate with sales, procurement, development, and leadership while ensuring standards, schedules and budgets are met.

You will review designs, mentor engineers, and deliver high‑reliability power systems with cost efficiency. Collaboration with operations and construction teams is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license in any US state.
• 10+ years in design/construction; 15+ preferred.
• Experience with data center electrical and cooling infra.
• Familiarity with NEC, NERC, IEEE, NFPA and local codes.
• NA construction market experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design reviews for new data centers.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Balance CAPEX and OPEX with engineering innovations.
• Support site operations through troubleshooting and tuning.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical standards.
